SEN Teaching Assistant Lambeth per day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full time, long-term temporary Long Term Futures is seeking a resilient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with ASD in a primary school in the Lambeth area. The role will primarily be 1:1 focused but can also be group-based work. This position is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with ASD or other SEMH and SEND needs, who can provide structure, consistency and a calm presence in the classroom. You will be able to build rapport with the child and be their go to in the school day. About the Role: Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and SLT your duties will include: Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and other additional needs. Providing consistent guidance to help the pupil stay focused and engaged Providing 1:1 support Working in hubs where provisions are in place for supporting students with ASD Supporting learning during lessons across the curriculum Ensuring the pupil doesn''t get distracted during class and focuses on the task at hand Ideal Candidate Profile Experience supporting pupils with ASD and other associated needs.
