Midas Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this leading retail business, headquartered in Birmingham, that due to an internal promotion, now seeks to hire a new Purchase Ledger Supervisor to lead a team of 5 in a busy accounts office. What s in it for you? Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm Salary: Up to £37,000 In office, moving to 1 day work from home after completing probation 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising with service Free parking and also close to public transport links Discretionary bonus The opportunity to develop your career in a well-known, fast-paced, friendly company Purchase Ledger Supervisor Responsibilities: Managing a team of 5 Accounts Payable staff Ensuring that all invoices are processed correctly and on time Periodic reconciliations and keeping all the supplier accounts up-to-date Processing the weekly Bacs and internet banking payment runs for suppliers Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently Staff training and constructive advice on day-to-day role requirements and processes Implement and improve processes, ensuring adequate controls are in place at all times Monitor team performance and ensure cover for colleagues during absences Purchase Ledger Supervisor Skills and Experience: Several years of experience in purchase ledger within a high-volume purchasing environment Pr
