Are you confident sourcing, evaluating and onboarding suppliers?If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen with a cutting-edge engineering organization for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team!Supplier Quality EngineerASAP StartMonday to Friday Aylesbury Supplier Quality EngineerJob Description:Lead supplier quality assurance activities across a diverse supply chain, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.Act as the key interface between suppliers and internal teams including Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Programmes.Manage supplier non-conformances, including containment, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions using structured methodologies (e.g. 8D, 5 Why).Conduct supplier audits, surveillance visits, and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.Maintain and develop the Approved Supplier List, including qualification and onboarding of new suppliers.Essential:Proven experience in a Supplier Quality role within high precision industries: Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other high-technology industries.Experience managing supplier non-conformances and driving corrective actions.Experience working with mechanical commodities (Machine, Plating, Welding, forming)
