The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend, shape, and form metal components according to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of metal fabrication, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate hydraulic or mechanical brake press machinesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machine setup and material requirementsSelect and install appropriate tooling, dies, and fixturesAdjust machine settings to ensure accurate bends and dimensionsPerform quality checks using measuring toolsMonitor the production process and adjust as needed to maintain quality standardsMaintain a clean and organised work areaFollow all safety protocols and company policiesPerform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues to maintenance staffRecord production data and complete documentation as required Qualifications:3 5 years proven experience operating a brake press machine in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
