An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as a Chef de Partie to join their busy catering team. Location: ThatchamWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week (6:30AM - 2:30PM OR 11:30AM - 7:30PM) Shift pattern of 5 days over 7 between Monday - SundaySalary: 29,045Benefits: Up to 9% employer pension contribution, free meals, employee assistance programme, 25 days holiday As the Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for: Ensuring all food is prepared, produced, presented, and served at the correct service times to a high standard and correct quantitiesSupport the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the running of daily operationsMaintaining a consistent high standard of fresh foodAssisting in the day to day running of the kitchenEnsuring food is prepared to the correct recipe standardEnsuring health and safety, hygiene and food safety regulations are followed in the kitchen The successful Chef de Partie will have the following related skills / experience:A passion for food and a creative flairPrevious experience in a similar role / catering for large numbersExcellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail.Enjoys working in a team and has a proactive approach to work Able to meet Health and Safety requirements and guidelinesAbility to work unsupervised and on own initiative Please note due to the location, you will need to be a driver with your own transport
