Fabricator / WelderPrecision Fabrication Engineered Systems ManufacturingRole OverviewAn established engineering manufacturer operating within high-specification industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to support the production of structural frameworks, pressure-related components and associated engineered assemblies.The role sits within a dedicated fabrication cell and plays a critical part in delivering mechanically robust, dimensionally accurate components that support wider system integration and assembly operations.Reporting to: Fabrication LeadershipCore ResponsibilitiesFabrication and welding of structural frames, cylindrical vessels and associated mechanical componentsPredominantly MIG welding, with TIG welding applied where requiredWorking from detailed technical and engineering drawings to produce components to specificationMaintaining dimensional tolerances, alignment accuracy and material integrityMinimal finishing and surface preparation to complete components to required standardOperation of workshop equipment including saws, pedestal drills and general fabrication machineryCompliance with production schedules, quality standards and workshop safety protocolsSupporting wider manufacturing operations during peak demand periodsTechnical Experience RequiredDemonstrable experience within a fabrication and welding environmentStrong MIG welding capability (essential)TIG welding experience (advantageous)Ability to interpret detailed fabrication
