History Lecturer - Taster Courses (Full-Time, Temporary) Location: Greater Manchester Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (1st June - End of Term) Rate: £30 - £35 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Lecturer to deliver engaging taster courses to prospective students at our further education college. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire learners and share your passion for history in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role is full-time on a temporary basis from 1st June until the end of term. Key Responsibilities: Deliver taster sessions that showcase the breadth and excitement of history. Engage students through innovative teaching methods and interactive activities. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure courses are well-coordinated and effective. Essential Requirements: Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or equivalent experience. Strong subject knowledge in history. Experience teaching or presenting to groups, ideally in a further education setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds. A DBS is also needed for this role.
