Description
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Support the procurement team with supplier management and communication.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
- Provide administrative support, including document management and data entry.
- Help with the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.
Profile
- Experience in administrative or procurement roles within the public sector or similar industries (or transferable skills from a university degree for example being competent with MS Office)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
