Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our client''s team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring the accurate handling of goods, maintaining inventory, and supporting various warehouse activities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all goods are accurately logged into the system.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Execute basic maths calculations for inventory management and order fulfilment.
• Assist in equipment repair and maintenance as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse, including proper storage of materials and products.
• Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and locations.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Valid forklift certification is desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates.
• Strong basic math''s skills for inventory management tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

Shift Pattern

• Monday To Friday
• 14.00pm - 22.00pm or 08.00am-16.00pm available.
• Overtime rate paid after 37.5hrs worked.
