We are currently looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our small, friendly, and experienced team based in Huddersfield (HD4) for our precision engineering clientLocation: HuddersfieldPosition: PermanentHours: 39 per weekShift: Monday - Thursday, 07:00 - 17:15Pay Rate: 18.00 per hour (minimum) based on experience.Main Responsibilities:Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls (experience with other systems also considered).Produce high-precision one-offs and small batches in a variety of materials, including stainless steels and exotic alloys.Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.Carry out self-inspection using micrometers, bore mics, verniers, and other measuring tools.Work to tight tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Key Skills and Experience:Apprentice trained or a minimum of 3 years'' experience in CNC milling programming, setting, and operating.Proven ability to produce high-quality precision components.Competent in programming from drawings using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.Confident with precision measuring equipment and quality control procedures.Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.What''s on Offer:Hourly Rate: 18.00 per hour (minimum)257 hours holiday (including statutory days)4-day working week - long weekends every week!Overti
