Supporting managers across several sites in and around London, the role requires a highly motivated and organised People Partner.Collaborate with people managers to understand their objectives and related people needs, guiding and coaching where neededShare and interrogate people data and insights with people managers to identify issues and inform decision-makingOwn the employee relations caseload, guiding and advising people managers on all cases and escalating where necessary to ensure that risks are minimised, and appropriate outcomes reachedOwn the people manager toolkits, continually updating and creating policies and guidance as neededIdentify development needs and create upskilling and training sessions to deliver to people managers where requiredSupport performance and pay review processes, helping people managers to make robust, data driven decisionsSupport people managers to recruit, facilitating attraction and recruitment activity, ensuring all areas are fully resourced and ongoing recruitment is managed appropriatelyLead high volume recruitment campaigns and take a key role in attending attraction events such as careers fairs, and apprentice and training provider eventsSupport people managers with the Group engagement survey, driving completion rates, exploring results, and implementing and tracking local action plansSupport the delivery of Group People Plan activities / change initiativesSupport the development of People Administrators and Apprentices as needed, coaching and task managing where requiredExcellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practiceExperience of working closely with people managers to drive resultsExperience of supporting change initiatives and implementing HR solutionsAbility to solve complex problems based on the analysis of multiple sources of informationStrong IT skills, including systems and Excel data analysis and presentationStrong coaching skillsProject management skills33 days holiday (including bank holidays)- Personal health cash plan claim back the cost of things like dentist and optical check ups- Enhanced maternity / paternity / adoption / shared parental pay- Life assurance: three times basic salary- Free breakfasts and fruit- Whether you''re at our smart Halifax or Peterborough offices, one of our AAR sites or working from home, we''ll make sure you have all the support you need to succeed.From benefits that put your health and wellbeing first, to impressive rewards for our employee of the month, and little perks like free fruit and cereal, we''ll go out of our way to show how much we appreciate you.Named by the Sunday Times as one of the UK''s 100 fastest-growing private companies, we employ more than 700 team members nationwide.We work with some of the UK''s largest fleets and insurance companies, supporting drivers that have been involved in a road incident at our contact centres in Halifax and Peterborough.We look after every step of the repair process, repairing vehicles at our own Activate Accident Repair body shops, and through a UK-wide network of independent repair partners.Seniority level
