Your new role An interim Finance Business Partner role, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The role supports the Head of Business Partnering in providing finance support to the Functional Executive team members and their teams, as well as delivering key financial processes including month-end, rolling forecasts and the three-year plans. The main activities of the role include: Ensuring appropriate financial controls for several cost centres within the functional cost base. Ensuring that actual, forecast and budgeted costs are fully understood by budget holders at all times. Providing Executive level commentary and insightful MI across functional finances, including monthly flash, and functional/cost centre reporting. Providing proactive financial support by understanding how functional strategy, interlinks with transformation activity and BAU, performing financial modelling, including investment appraisals and scenario modelling. Analysing and understanding the group finance landscape and proactively engaging with relevant teams to support and deliver actuals, forecast, plan or modelling activities including FPandR, systems and tax. Providing commercial support and, as appropriate, challenging proposed activity with alternative proposals. Ensuring budget holders have relevant information required to
