We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join Dorset Police. This role will be based at Ferndown Police Station in Dorset.This is a temporary ongoing position working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.PLEASE NOTE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO POLICE VETTING.Purpose of this role - To deliver a prompt, efficient and effective repair service to optimise vehicle availability for all vehicle users. To provide timely and efficient scheduled maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure that all assets owned by both Devon and Cornwall and Dorset Police remain safe, reliable, legally compliant and fit for the purpose for which they were provided.
