Overview

Part-time Senior Compliance Manager and MLRO (SMF17) - Consumer Lending. 3 days a week, London (Hybrid, 2 days in the office). The role sits in 2nd line reporting to the CEO and is the sole Compliance specialist within the business at this time, with the potential to build a small team as the business grows.Responsibilities

Lead core compliance initiatives and the company’s control framework.Build relationships with key stakeholders, promote an ethical working environment and drive regulatory change.Provide regulatory advice, guidance and challenge to the business.Promote a culture of continued improvement in the quality of the customer experience and ensure the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the business.Act as Consumer Duty lead for the business.Take on MLRO (SMF17) responsibilities.Be familiar with the regulations impacting the consumer lending arena, including CONC and Consumer Duty.Maintain excellent communication across the business to support regulatory compliance objectives.Qualifications and Requirements

Experienced senior Compliance professional from the consumer lending arena.Familiar with regulations impacting this sector, including CONC and Consumer Duty.Excellent communication skills.About the Role and Growth
