The role Working under the Workshop Manager, a Vehicle Mechanic, is required to join the business to be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of their large fleet at their North Lanarkshire Facility.2 shift rotation (1-week mornings and 1-week afternoons): 07:30 - 16:00 12:00 -20:30 You will take responsibility for: Maintaining, servicing, and repairing large fleets varying from light vans through to HGVs and trailers. To carry out MOT inspections and testing on large fleet Responding to breakdowns and carrying out regular maintenance inspections To carry out maintenance scheduling, taking responsibility for stock control and generating reports What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following: Minimum 3 years of experience working as a vehicle mechanic with all levels of experience. Ideally CandG/NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent in mechanics or similar field, although all levels of qualifications and training will be considered. Must have a full UK driving license.
