Are you an Estimator / Design Engineer with Management experience looking to lead complex technical enquiries, mentor designers and help drive standards in a growing manufacturer expanding globally

Role Snapshot / Features

• Interpret construction drawings; prepare detailed, competitive technical schedules/quotes.

• Provide basic calculations to current standards with support from an internal structural team.

• Issue cost variations for live projects; keep trackers/files accurate.

• Lead & develop Design Engineers: set expectations, delegate, review performance.

• Run clear handovers to the project team when orders land.

• Build customer relationships via calls/emails; attend office/site meetings as required.

• Deliver product presentations and occasional site-installation training.

• Champion Health & Safety; maintain quality and compliance in all outputs.

You''ll Need

• Several years'' experience in a construction estimating/technical role.

• Proven leadership and people-management skills.

• Strong analytical/problem-solving; commercially aware and target-driven.

• Confident interpreting drawings; sound knowledge of construction processes/standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

• Excellent communication and organisation.
