General Manager role at Sodexo – RAF Odiham, Hook, Hampshire, RG29 1QT. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week.Location and company details: Sodexo supports government agencies and aims to foster respect, efficiency and wellbeing. This opportunity supports the Armed Services Personnel as a General Manager.What you’ll Do

Overall accountability and responsibility for the day-to-day management, co-ordination and control of Cleaning, Catering, Tailoring, Bar Work, Shops and Café on site, including Cleaning Manager, Mess Manager, Catering Manager, 6–7 supervisors and circa 60 on-site staff.Maintain excellent client/customer relationships.Work with department managers to plan, organise and co-ordinate service activity across the site.Actively promote and support activities aligned to employee engagement.Contribute to the growth of services to meet client and commercial expectations while maintaining strict budgetary control in line with client and Sodexo expectations.What you Bring

Driving License is Essential.Due to security clearances you must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.Knowledge and experience of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry.Leadership skills and knowledge.People management skills including recruitment, training and managing employee performance including disciplinary and grievance procedures.Management knowledge of health and safety and food safety.What We Offer
