This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, multi-sector design practice delivering fire engineering solutions across commercial, residential, transport, and energy projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead fire engineering design across a range of sectors including buildings, infrastructure, and energy facilitiesDevelop fire strategies, assess fire-related risks, and ensure compliance with UK and international standardsManage multiple projects from concept to delivery, including budgeting and stakeholder engagementSupport junior engineers and act as a technical reviewer on project submissionsContribute to tenders and help grow client relationshipsThe successful candidate:Degree in engineering (ideally fire engineering) or relevant postgraduate qualificationStrong knowledge of standards such as BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, EN45545Experience with fire modelling tools (e.g. FDS, PyroSim) is advantageousWorking towards Chartered Fire Engineer statusAble to obtain UK security clearanceThis role offers a salary of up to 95k for a highly experienced candidate, with the opportunity to work on some prestigious projects.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
