Job Title: Business Analyst – Biofuels and Commodity Trading3x a week onsiteAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and self-starting Business Analyst to join a dynamic team working on a greenfield biofuels trading platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is excited to learn new domains, and can quickly adapt to complex business processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.Write clear and actionable user stories and present them to development teams.Participate in feature design, discovery workshops, and cross-domain collaboration.Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure successful delivery.Support sustainability and physical operations workflows linked to commodity trading.Contribute to the ETRM system design and implementation (experience preferred but not required).Assist in prioritizing features and releases under tight timelines.Preferred ExperienceExposure to biofuels trading or sustainability operations.Background in commodity trading, especially physical trading and oil and gas.Experience with physical operations and back-office processes.Familiarity with ETRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro) is a plus.Demonstrated ability to learn new domains quickly and apply knowledge effectively.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
