A great opportunity has arisen for a experienced hands on control systems engineer to join a leading manufacturing companyJob Description:Work as part of the Maintenance team to ensure the site is operating in a safe and productive manner and maintain and improve undertaking all duties in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and working to all relevant standards.Creating ECandI drawings (e.g., Block Cable Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams), technical specifications, and basis of design documents. Producing and checking various documents like risk registers, testing strategies, method statements, and technical files for new equipment. Participating in HAZOPs, design reviews, and contributing to safety case development. Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, legislation, and project requirements, including safety and functional safety aspects.Checking the quality of design deliverables and ensuring they meet the required standards. Supporting the commissioning process, potentially including site visits and overnight stays. Identifying and resolving technical issues, often requiring a proactive and practical approach.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively.
