Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Basildon to recruit for an Social Worker - Family Support and Protection Team within the Social Care Industry on a permanent basis paying 37,185 - 50,081 P/Annum.Responsibilities include:Initial Assessments and Core AssessmentsReport WritingWorking With PLO (Public Law Outline)Attending Child Protection meetings, Case Conferences and LAC reviews.Court work including S.7 report and when necessary, taking families into proceedings and some Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessmentsLAC ReviewsGiving EvidenceManaging a varied caseloadCourt ReportsTo be successful: For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level. Candidates will need to have an excellent knowledge of therapeutic approaches, relevant legislation, national policy and initiatives and experience working with Children and Families.
