This is their first-ever Head of Cyber Security hire, a unique opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you’ll set the strategy, shape the roadmap, and deliver a transformation with full board-level visibility and backing.Responsibilities

As Head of Cyber Security, you’ll be responsible for:Developing and delivering a 3-5 year security strategy and roadmap across technology, people, and process.Embedding security by design into projects, platforms, data flows, and supply chain operations.Leading a growing team of security specialists and driving culture change across the wider organisation.Ensuring compliance with GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus.Driving proactive operational security, including incident response, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and SOC integration.Representing security at board level, advising on risk posture, investment, and priorities.This isn’t just a role about keeping the lights on, it’s about designing a safer, smarter business for the future.What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a senior security leadership role (Head of, Director, or equivalent).Strong track record building and delivering security programmes aligned to industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials Plus).Hands-on expertise across cloud (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.Deep understanding of data protection legislation and risk management.CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification (or equivalent).Excellent stakeholder management, able to translate technical risk into plain business language.A zero-trust mindset and the ability to lead transformation in complex environments.What’s in it for you?
